白川茶
岐阜県加茂郡白川町及び東白川村で
生産される日本茶。
その歴史は４００年以上と言わ れ、
一説ではこの地にお茶が伝わったのは
１３００年程前と言われています。
緑茶の生産地としては日本でも
北に位置し、山間部であることから
霧の発生、 昼夜の寒暖差等お茶の
生育に適した環境となっています。
生産量は全国のお茶の生産量に対して
１％程度で希少性の高いお茶です。
品種はやぶきたが中心で味わいとして
香りが高くバランスの取れた渋みと
甘み、スッキリした後味が特徴です。

This is a rare Japanese black tea, with an annual production of only about 300 kg.
We started production about 15 years ago.

In this region, tea production is in jeopardy due to a lack of successors.
In response to the growing demand for Japanese black tea, we will leverage the rarity and high quality of Mikawa Japanese black tea to develop it into a high-end brand and improve profitability.
We believe this will also encourage successors to enter the field.
